I enjoy Social Media just like the next person. One of the positives for me is to find old YouTube videos of some of my favorite entertainers and athletes or reveling in all the information of whatever is I having no knowledge of. The material out in cyber space is endless. And that my friends are one of the wonderful aspects of Social Media. As you know, there are negatives attributes about Social Media that must be addressed. Many things come to mind when I ponder the negatives. Mainly Hollywood’s finest. There are a few celebs that need to take a hiatus from Social Media and give the public a break. Unfortunately their fans will have none of that. Listed below are a few nuisances of Social Media overexposure.
Eminem (Rap Artist)
You know you’ve made it when you’re dissed in a lyric in an Eminem song. “Him [God] don’t give a damn about Bieber, do Him?” he raps in “A Kiss.” “What a demon, a behemoth, evil just seems to be seeping through him.”
Marg Helgenberger (CSI)
“Justin Bieber wasn’t bad,” Helgenberger told a French radio show. “He had never acted before. I shouldn’t be saying this, but he’s kind of a brat. He was actually very nice to me, but he locked one of the producers in a closet. And he put his fist through a cake that was on the table.”
A star is born.
Next up…wait for her…wait for her.
She annoys us in so many ways. Sure she inherited a lot of money from her father and let’s not talk about her sex tape. Those talents or careers or whatever they are have doubled her income. Kim, you and Kanye should take a vacation and leave Social Media at home. I am sure all of the channels are tired of you. Let’s check out what people are saying about her.
Candace Bure (Actress)
How much longer do I have to look at Kim Kardashian’s butt on my twitter feed? Ugh
Alyssa Milano (Actress)
Wait! I don’t get it. No disrespect to Kim but… people are offended by my breastfeeding selfies & are fine with her (amazing) booty cover?
Russell Brand (Actor)
Kim Kardashian’s arse: A glistening portal to some memory of a time when we knew who we were and what we are? Or not?
Last but not lease…Well darn. We have a tie: Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus. The winner is (drum roll please). I will be your Wrecking Ball. Miley is everywhere Social Media is. She doesn’t leave home without it. Maybe daughter and dad (Billy Ray) can get in the studio and put together a remix and entitled “A Wrecking Ball Broke My Achy Breaky Heart.” Listen to what the folks were saying after her sexually charged 2013 VMA performance.
Annie Lennox (Singer/Songwriter)
The singer said she was “disturbed and dismayed” by what seems like an onslaught of overtly sexual performances and videos, adding, “You know the ones I’m talking about.” Annie went on to say that record companies are making a habit of “peddling highly styled pornography,” calling it “a glorified and monetized form of self-harm.”
Pharrell Williams (Music Producer/Songwriter/Singer)
“You have to remember this is a 20-year-old evolving. Her dad is Billy Ray Cyrus, her godmother is Dolly Parton, and she’s raised in the era of ‘hip-hop is king.’ So when people go and look and ask, ‘Why is she twerking, why is she doing this?’ It’s because she’s a byproduct of America.”
That’s all folks!
