The Grand Social Media Experiment. We learn by doing.

Added Value

As an organization it os very important to add value to your social media posts regardless of the channels chosen to use. The first thing to do is to give the customer a way of getting in touch with the organization to express their feelings whether they be good reviews or concerns about a product or service. It is imperative that you respond to the customer’s feed back as well.

Another way of adding value to the organization’s social media outlets is to post helpful hints. Show what the product can be used for as well as how to use it properly and get the most out of it. Educational videos on YouTube is an excellent option for an organization to show the quality of the product and how to use and take care of it. Instructions can also be presented on how to get in touch with the organization if the customer desires to.

One other way to add value to posts is to provide links to other sites that the customer may be interested in. This could be determined by the type or product or service the organization provides. Links could also be provided that take the customer to charities or causes that the organization supports, showing the customer the companies social responsibility.  jfred
