How would different groups/organizations use the different social media channels to reach supporter

Before different organization can figure out which are the right social media channels to use to reach their customers/ supporters. They must sit down and do some homework, what do we want to achieve? This is huge, because if you take a road-trip to anywhere you haven’t travel, to do so without a mapping system, well I pity the fool. So first thing that need to be done is to decide where you want to go, how you’re going to there, what will it cost, do we have the money for the trip, and how huge is the audience, this list could go on and on depending on the organization. Are you a start-up, a big or small company, are you for profit or non-profit,their are so many variable, the company need to do the defining about what they need in terms of social media.Always start at a foundational level enlist help from the professional as needed.
Then once a audience has been identify, find out which channels cater to that audience type and start there.Result’s are measureable, by sales and donations, followers, depends on your goals.If your goals, are being met at that chosen channel continue using it, and find more. If a site is not meeting your goals stop using it and move on. Seek out more channels that will also get you the result you desire to achieve, there is a long list to choose from.
