The Grand Social Media Experiment. We learn by doing.

Antisocial Media

Having spent quite a bit of time lately on corporate telephone systems, waiting for answers, trying to connect to actual humans, I found this article to be timely.
When I finally do get connected, it’s typically been to someone who has difficulty understanding me, and I frequently cannot understand their thick accents either. If these corporations are trying to spend less time on phone connections with clients, perhaps they should have their phone banks in places other than Bangalore.

I CAN HAS CONTENT?

I was tuned in to MPR today (yes, dear cohorts, I listen to something other than KFAI on occasion) and they were positing on whether the phenomenon of the Walker Art Center’s Cat Video festival they had at the State Fair this year was art or not. Is it Art? If the Walker says it’s Art, then it must be. But the point of it was that 10,000 people were enjoying cat videos together. I can get behind that.

Are we a bored society just craving enjoyment, wherever we can find it? Probably, for the most part. I’m just really rambling here, as I can’t think of a bloody thing to post on this, my first WordPress Blog.

Here, look at this!
