People drive relationships, not technology.  Engaging your audience is based on giving them the information they are seeking. Keeping your audience engaged requires a constant connection with them.  Social media centers efforts to create content that attracts attention; it generates online conversation and most importantly entices them to share with their online networks. When the message spreads from user to user it is thought to be from a trusted source. The most effective social media strategies are those that provide a benefit to the customer, whether it’s through discounts, exclusive promotions, or relevant content and information.  A business need to give great detail to this perspective. One-third of a business business is word of mouth.

In short, keeps the conversation going and the content valuable and you will keep your audience engaged.   –  DH
