Well, I was not expecting anything sassy like this from Ragan’s PR Daily! And I hope I don’t offend anyone…, “Doing endorsements on LinkedIn is like having sex in the 1960s, during the sexual revolution: It’s easy to do, everybody’s doing it, you don’t have to know the person you’re doing it with, and it’s OK to do it in groups!”
Do others feel the same way about endorsements on Linked In? Do you feel compelled to endorse back if someone endorses you? Does it feel authentic or just a “quid pro quo.” I’m curious if these endorsements add value to a person’s page or company.
Heck, if I could get a job with an awesome brewery that reflects my values because someone endorsed me for drinking, endorse away- KH
