As we struggle together my cohort and I are in agreement that while learning the basics may be difficult, I believe that we are becoming successful at making social media our collective 8!+(1-1… (Yep I’m using leetspeek) Finding out how to tie into or relate different aspects of social media can be fun when we allow ourselves to step back and recognize that we are thinking in a box, and try to think outside of that box. So get out that your box, it’s actually fun! Don’t you agree? – bb

  1. I think it’s amazing that social media allows a public relation specialist and their customer base to interact in real time to solve and resove the customers issues. It will also allow an organization to solve product based issue on the fly and this in turn could save thousands of dollars. I also think that if an organization has a social media site it will help create loyal customers who truely feel connected and will bring family and friends along for the ride. It will also provide feedback on good products, bad products, quality, and what the customer is thinking about their organization and the customer service experience.

  2. I think you make a great point and although this has been a struggle I am seeing the value more and more every day. It is interesting to watch how stories take shape. It used to be that Walter Cronkite was our only story teller, now anyone with a smartphone can inform and direct our attention. This stuff is powerful.
